How to Make Rose Water

 The best way is to use fresh rose petals, but if you don't have them, you can use dried rose petals. Use one cup of petals or as much as you have, and 1 cup of water. Heat the water until it just starts to bubble, not boiling, just bubbles. Turn the heat off and add the rose petals. Cover and let sit for 1 hour, then strain into a clean jar or bottle.

 NOTE: Do not boil the rose petals or heat the water over 160 degrees. If the water is too hot, it destroys the properties of the rose petals.

 You can use it right from the bottle or mix it with some witch hazel or alcohol.  Using a cotton ball to wipe your face or any part of your body. It's a great facial toner. You can also add it to any food or drink it as a cold or hot tea to receive all the benefits of rose water.
